Allo Ships - 3/28/25

“What did you ship this week”?

This is a call for showing off what we are proud of from this week. What we got done.

An important ritual: Momentum begets momentum, and we want to build a visceral sense of momentum around Allo. So, every Friday we rally around this post and share our work and use this cross-pollination of research, exploration, and energy to advance our work further on.

So, what did we ship this week, week ending March 28?

Owocki

Rena

  • Continued review and coordination on the DAO Design Contest with Owocki and certain stakeholders

Carl

  • Worked on a proposal with David Dao on DeepGov for GG23.
  • Prototyped an AgentNetwork for deep research
  • Demo of AI Reviewer

David and Sejal

Feems

  • continuing my research and writing for insight 2 report to deliver next week.

Octavian

  • Finalized and updated the web3 evolution poster.
  • Started working, moodboarding, brainstorming graphics for the hyperstition book

Cristina

Travis

  • Focused on deep research, refining research tools and workflows, and supporting the definition of key strategic initiatives. My goal was to synthesize core ideas, improve our internal>external methods, and shape Allo’s future direction. This included:
    • Prospectus Deep Dive & Refinement: Continued refining my Allo.Capital research prospectus, integrating co-founder priorities with insights from ETH Denver to sharpen strategic focus. Balancing wild divergence with constraints for convergence.
    • Research Workflow & AI Tools: Experimented with improving my own research process, including testing AI tools like Gemini 2.5 Pro/Deep Research, NotebookLM, custom RAG integrations, Cursor + MCP servers for researching complex topics, scripted automations, collective knowledge repo management, knowledge graphs, web3 primitives for attribution/royalties, etc etc (infinite etc). While I think AI shows promise for exploring complexity across large data sets, my experience continues to highlight the critical need for high-quality, human-curated, brutally specific sources and a consolidated network of high-fidelity archives of web3 quantitative and qualitative data. Lots of learnings I hope to share soon.
    • Strategic Question Development: Drafted targeted questions for key Allo stakeholders (co-founders, Allominati, expanded network) to speculate hyperstitions and provoke high-level statements into concretion. Findings will be shared in an upcoming blog post (that I’m very excited about).
  • Coordination Comic & Rumination on Lorecraft: Advanced the Allo-inspired coordination comic with Kevin Owocki. This work sparked valuable epiphanies into effective storytelling for communicating Allo’s unique vision, which will be detailed in a separate article I’m preparing for this group. Preparing a blog post on various styles of lorecraft to increase the profundity of Allo.Capital’s mythopoetic weavings.
  • DAO Design & Org Structure: Contributed supplemental ideas to Allo’s DAO design (in general) and my own hallucination proposal (specifically), focusing on actionable short-term steps like how Allo can start running autonomous raids and the longer-term organizational architecture we might demonstrate at our next upcoming milestone, DevConnect. The aim is a structure that is coherent, adaptable, deeply aligned with Allo’s values, and inspired continued experimentation in our community. Preparing a blog post on this too.
  • Visual Communication: Began exploring visual languages (symbols, maps, glyphs) to better communicate Allo’s complex strategies and network dynamics, moving beyond text-only updates. Motivated to respond to Owocki’s ecosystem map, visualized hallucinatory strategies, concretize the org architecture, and many other subjects. Just kick starting this enthusiasm now, but aiming to roll out morsels in the coming weeks.
  • Next Week for TW:
    • I’m attending MetaCamp in Costa Rica next week to engage with peers IRL, conduct Allo.Capital-focused research interviews (using the prepped questions mentioned above), and gather high-quality source material for our knowledge base.
    • Will strategize on how to support other endeavors, like the Allo.Capital podcast.
    • Continuing editing of blog posts. Hoping to publish a few (maybe 3 or more!) by end of next week.
    • Further advancing long-term strategy and organizational design work towards category creation.
