Summary and TLDR:

Infinite Fountain: The Allo Must Flow is an 8-week creative sprint where Allominati members will turn $750 USDC into a crowdfunding campaign with 4 videos and a digital fanzine. All the Allominati members will earn on-chain points and compete for $750 USDC in prizes, all within a fun and gamified experience.

Main objectives:

The main goal is to rally all the Allominati members to:

  • co-design
  • co-create
  • vote
  • earn

This system will allow us to have 2 outcomes at the same time:

  • Dogfood an Allocation Mechanism
  • Create content and crowdfunding campaigns to grow the Allo Capital project.

Deliverables in 8 weeks:

  • 1 crowdfunding campaign to increase Allo-Capital funding (NFT purchases or direct USDC donations)
  • 4 “community co created” short videos showcasing Allo research, podcasts, books, builds
  • “Allominati-Only” digital fanzine compiling top submissions and insights

We will strongly emphasize the “crowdfunding campaign” because it’s the activity that will bring more resources to Allo Capital. In the long term, The Infinite Fountain’s goal is to become a platform where projects can allocate capital toward activities that have a healthy ROI (that replenish the pool and even make the pool grow further).

Type of initiatives to showcase in the videos:

We will create content for a total of 4 Allo projects—builds, initiatives, podcasts, books, etc—which the Allominati will vote on during Phase 1. The topics will be drawn from any of these:

  • Allo podcast episodes
  • Allo-Capital books
  • Updates on the 5 winning mechanisms from the DAO design contest
  • Allo Ecosystem: Gardens, Allo-Yeeter, Cookie Jar, etc…

Allominati-Only, Community-First Fanzine:

This project does not intend to be an “official” Allo magazine or content production studio. Instead, it’s a “Allominati-Only, bottom-up, community-first initiative” that intends to provide additional value to the DAO.

Mechanism:

We will start an Infinite Fountain (pool) with $750 USDC and will be distributed among the top 5 Allominati on the Leaderboard.

Allominati members will earn points for submitting ideas, joining workshops, voting, and any other activity that will help shape all the content artifacts we will be creating.

PRIZES:

Every idea, submission, vote and action will earn the participants points (onchain).

50% of this grant request will be allocated among our fellow Allominatis.

We will distribute a total of $750 USDC among the top 5 Allominati members.

After 2 months, we will distribute the prizes like this:

We’ll create a Telegram group “The Allo Must Flow”, where we will be posting challenges, proposing ideas, voting on them, organizing workshops, etc… whatever is needed to create a collaborative experience.

The portal where we will see the creative proposals, vote on them, and see the leaderboard will be token gated so only Allominati NFT holders can participate.

Integration with Allo Protocol and Allo-Capital:

I will integrate the Infinite Fountain app to use the Allo protocol.

Also, I am looking forward to doing a token swap with Allo-Capital in the future if this allocation mechanism proves valuable to the team.

Budget breakdown:

Prizes for the Allominati members: $750

Improving the app and integrate with Allo Protocol: $450

Content production (design, animation, video production): $300

Total = $1,500 USDC

About myself:

Hello I am Armando (aka forkinWisdom)

*I collaborated in Gitcoin for 2 years creating content.

*Helped plan, design and moderate (with Afo and Scott Morris) some Allo Capital workshops during the DAO design contest.

*Have been working the last 12 years in creating marketing exclusively for NGOs and social impact projects.

*Right now I am focused on creating a platform for social impact projects to do storytelling and crowdfunding, “The Infinite Fountain” is my latest approach.

*Won a fellowship at Ashoka’s Storytellers at Residence

*Was a finalist at Echoing Green for a social movement I created in Mexico 12 years ago.
