Collaboration Proposal between Allo Capital and BuidlGuidl

Collaboration Proposal between Allo Protocol and BuidlGuidl

Objective

As a first step, BuidlGuidl suggests creating a SpeedRunEthereum (SRE) Challenge for the Allo Protocol. To facilitate this, BuidlGuidl proposes a two-month work agreement. This will provide an opportunity to evaluate how both parties work together and determine if they wish to continue collaborating on further initiatives (see suggestions below).

Value for Allo Protocol

Leveraging BG’s reach to builders to provide insights into how Allo Protocol works on BG’s most successful platform SpeedRunEthereum and ultimately encouraging them to use Allo Protocol to build applications.

First Deliverable

SpeedRunEthereum Challenge for Gitcoin/Allo with the following components:

  • Placement: list it as challenge in SRE (BG’s most impactful product)
  • Scope: similar to BG’s DEX challenge
  • Topics (in alignment with Allo):
    • Explanation of funding mechanism and capital allocation in general and how allo protocol implements them
    • Builders deploy one allo strategy and interact with respective smart contracts, focus lies on smart contracts and Solidity (front-end is given)
    • Exact specifics of the challenge will be defined with Allo protocol
  • Further features: Explanation/tutorial video of Austin explaining the challenge and tinker around with the Allo protocol (ca. 30min)
  • Technology: The challenge will be developed as an extension for ScaffoldETH 2, ensuring easy updates with the latest technology
  • Time frame: 2 months

Responsibilities

BuidlGuidl will lead the development of the Challenge, while Allo Protocol will provide input on the topics and funding mechanism strategies to be covered. Additionally, Allo Protocol will contribute their expertise on the smart contracts and offer support throughout the process (e.g. testing, feedback).

Collaboration outlook

Given the successful completion of the first challenge, BuildGuidl could envision a comprehensive Allo Protocol curriculum to onboard builders into the “Capital Allocation World” on SpeedRunEthereum featuring the following:

  • Creating more challenges with different funding strategies with the respective explanation/tutorial videos
  • Launch a Batch/Cohort program for builders to provide a more personalized experience and offer in-depth, hands-on-learning about Allo protocols and strategies.
  • Scaffold-ETH 2 Extension for people to spin up their funding platform with explanation/tutorial video series.
