Collaborative Study Group on Onchain Capital Allocation

Hey everyone,

I’d love to propose a collaborative learning group focused on Onchain Capital Allocation. The goal is to explore the mechanisms deeply, combining theory and hands-on experimentation. Here’s the rough idea:

  1. Weekly Sessions: We meet once a week to discuss and test mechanisms from the book (or other resources).
  • Option 1: Cover one chapter per meeting for structured progress.
  • Option 2: Dive into one mechanism per meeting for deeper analysis + testing.
  1. Hybrid Approach: Blend learning with experimentation—study concepts first, then validate them together (e.g., simulations, toy models, or real-chain tests if feasible).
  2. Shared Knowledge: Document insights in a wiki or shared notes to consolidate learning. Longer-term, we could even create explainer videos to simplify these concepts for others.

Why?

  • Learn faster by teaching/explaining (what’s unclear to one might click for another).
  • Practical understanding through testing > passive reading.
  • Build a resource for the broader community.

Thank you to all 14 people who came to the first gathering of the study group. It was inspiring to connect.
As you can see, I still have difficulty with English, so I appreciate your patience.

We’re now discussing how to collectively define the direction and structure of the group. I’ve started a draft, but this is an open conversation. Please feel free to comment, suggest edits, or bring your own ideas. Let’s build this collaboratively.
