This is the fifth update (Week #5) as part of our quest to design and build a funding readiness framework. See initial proposal, week #1, week #2, week #3, and week #4 updates here.
What we planned to do
-
Review criteria and statements for necessary changes
-
Run a second round of testing with help from the projects themselves and other external resources like Karma GAP
What we did
-
Made a few wording changes to the project and evaluator statements
-
Condensed two of the team questions into one
-
Got confirmation from 2 ReFi projects that they would help us test the framework
-
Reached out to two evaluators for feedback on the framework
What we learned
- We should’ve started the process of reaching out to projects and evaluators earlier
Challenges encountered
- Projects/people are understandably busy, so it’s taking longer than expected to get results
Next steps
-
Review project submissions and evaluator feedback
-
Send project submission to evaluators to test the mechanics
-
Make changes to the framework as per feedback
-
Submit a final working version of the framework
