For the following application, I would love some ideas and feedback ^^
What I’m really interested in is, how do people decide what to fund? My assumption (~bias) is that similarly to TradFi (with investors/startups), the Ethereum ecosystem works (mostly) based on who knows who. Having credentials in web3 is great, but could there also be some social rules about who met in person and helping friends, rather than focusing on the quality of the projects?
To explore the topic, I’m interested in what the funders (DAOs, L2 sponsors, but also investors) have to say (success stories, big failures, usually investment strategies); but also potential metrics that can inform these decisions, use cases of NFTs and attestations (love Karma GAP 
).
I think of it as the analysis to avoid scammers (but also naive founders), or detecting the early gems. It’s not necessarily a ReFi focused research, but I believe it can be very useful for Ethereum.

The quality of the interviewees might be the key, but that can only happen if the community believe in the research. Open to feedback
