[RFC] Global Mapping of Web3 Capital Allocation Entry Points and Community Alignment

Overview

This proposal outlines a Research Raid Party to systematically investigate and identify optimal entry points for Web3 capital allocation tools across global governments and ecosystems. The goal is to map capital allocation needs, understand geographical opportunities based on blockchain friendliness, and leverage insights from the Allo Capital community (Allominati) to strategically launch and scale allocation tools.

Objectives

  • Demographic Analysis: Clearly define the geographic distribution and demographic strengths of the Allo Capital community to identify regions of high-impact coordination potential.
  • Global Opportunity Mapping: Conduct thorough research to visually map capital allocation needs and prioritize regions based on their readiness, openness, and regulatory friendliness toward blockchain and Web3 innovation.
  • Friction Points Identification: Interview capital allocators across diverse ecosystems, local city governments, state, national, and continental levels to deeply understand their friction points and allocation inefficiencies.
  • Micro to Macro Implementation Roadmap: Develop a structured approach to implementation, starting with high-potential local governments, scaling up systematically to broader regional adoption.

Methodology

  • Phase 1: Community Insights & Demographic Mapping
    • Survey the Allominati to create a comprehensive profile of community demographics.
    • Identify key contributors and hubs within the Allo ecosystem for localized engagement.
  • Phase 2: Research & Data Collection
    • Utilize existing blockchain and crypto-regulatory frameworks databases to classify regions as blockchain-friendly or emerging.
    • Conduct qualitative research through targeted interviews with capital allocators (DAO leads, government representatives, funding organizations).
  • Phase 3: Visual Mapping & Analysis
    • Create interactive visual maps highlighting areas with critical capital allocation needs, blockchain receptivity, and Allominati demographic strengths.
    • Assign quantitative values to areas based on forms of capital required and readiness for allocation tools.
  • Phase 4: Strategic Roadmap Development
    • Develop actionable implementation sequences from local to continental scales, aligning closely with Allo community resources and geographic strengths.
    • Provide prioritized recommendations for launching allocation tools based on mapped insights.

Outcomes

  • A detailed geographic and demographic analysis report
  • Interactive visual maps identifying strategic entry points for Web3 capital allocation tools
  • A clear, actionable implementation roadmap for initial pilots and scalable expansion
  • Insights into allocator friction points informing future build prioritization

Timeline

  • Month 1: Community survey and initial demographic mapping
  • Month 2-3: In-depth research, interviews, and data collection
  • Month 4: Creation of visual mapping and quantitative analysis
  • Month 5: Drafting and finalizing strategic roadmap and implementation guide

Resources & Team

  • Raid Leader: TBD
  • Researchers: Community-sourced via Allominati engagement
  • Tools: Data visualization software, collaborative research platforms

Next Steps

  • Obtain feedback and approval from Allo Capital leadership
  • Initiate community survey and form a dedicated raid party
  • Schedule regular community updates for transparency and collaborative input
  • Connect raid to future planned workshops to cross pollinate and quickly gather insights.

This Research Raid Party will significantly streamline capital allocation efforts, strategically leverage community strengths, and lay the groundwork for scalable global Web3 capital distribution solutions.
